From 1987-2003 I owned and operated Picasso's Creative Clothing in Hoffman Estates IL in the Barrington Square Mall. 

At Picasso's a customer could come in and paint their own T Shirt or Sweatshirt. The garment was placed on a fitted board and the customer applied swirls of color. Then in went into the giant spinning machine rotating at a high velocity the colors spread outward overlapping and blending into a beautiful abstract design. A sprinkle of glitter was next and into the line dryer it went. 5 minutes later it was dry and ready to wear.

It was a complete phenomenon and everyone became an instant clothing designer! Customers couldn't get enough of it. 

People came from all over the Midwest to paint a shirt at Picasso's. 

Here my Art blossomed. I had a new canvas to paint upon. I explored creative ideas and they were all well received. In December Picasso's was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine as "Hot New Business for the 90's!"

I then started expanding my Wearable Art Clothing lines at Top 200 Art Shows across the United States. Just an incredible time of my life.
