Thunderbird Journey
My time living in Palm Springs California brought great exposure to Mid Century Modern Design with new modern elements in my compositions of Abstraction.
As a constant Art Student in study I embraced the process and experimented in MCM Revival.
Her in my painting called Thunderbird Journey I expressed the flight of a mythical Thunderbird joyfully enjoying the air current over the landscape with an extraordinary flight dance. It's artistic moves of twisting, gliding, and flipping are overlapped to show motion of flight. The landscape is fragmented allowing the viewer to imaging what the Thunderbird saw throughout its spontaneous burst of energy.
